Lily Festival: Saturday, July 11th
The Annual Lily Festival is held on the second Saturday of July. Although lilies bloom at different times throughout the summer, we chose this date to highlight the Tiger Lily in bloom.
Like Albany’s Tulip Festival and Rochester’s Lilac Festival, our goal is to grow Schoharie’s Lily Festival each year as we celebrate the beauty of the Lily Park and the Schoharie Valley.
With crafters, vendors, food, music, games, and all other things associated with festivals, visitors are invited to enjoy a day in the park.
Band Concerts: August 7th 14th, 21st, 28th
The Friday Night summer concerts tradition continues in the Schoharie County Courtyard during August.
Cornhole Tournament: Saturday, September 26th
Lights in the Park and Community Gathering: Friday, November 27th
Preparation for Lights in the Park begins in October when trees in Fox Creek Park are wrapped in colorful lights. The pavilion is also decorated with lights and other decorations are placed in the park. The lighting of the park for the holiday season along with a community party in the park is held the Friday after Thanksgiving and continues until Twelfth Night.
Schoharie Promotional also sponsors the decorations on Main Street and in the Lily Park..
